SUMMARY OF DISCIPLINARY COMPLAINT RESOLUTION AGREEMENT
Pursuant to section 55(2)(a) of the Health Professions Act
between
Selena Hansen, #5100
(the “Regulated Member”)
And
Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
(the “College“)
The Regulated Member and the College entered into a Disciplinary Complaint Resolution Agreement (“DCRA”) on March 23, 2024. The Regulated Member agreed that from August 31, 2023 to September 27, 2023, she engaged in unprofessional conduct in that she:
a. failed to ensure declarations she made on her practice permit application were true;
b. failed to ensure she had an active practice permit prior to engaging in practice as a speech-language pathologist; and
c. failed to ensure she had professional liability insurance coverage prior to engaging in practice as a speech-language pathologist.
The conduct admitted to in the DCRA arises from one complaint. The Regulated Member agreed to pay a fine of $900 to the College.
