  • Present practical tips for supervisors and supervisees for a successful supervised practice period.

Learning Path Instructions

To complete this session, participants need to review the course material in each module.

  • Feel free to use Text-to-Speech (TTS) reading tools in the browser to support your learning as needed.
  • The ACSLPA website is equipped with accessibility tools, look for the icon  on the right side of each webpage.

The course has three lessons:

  1. Supervised Practice Period – The Background
  2. Strategies for Supervisors
  3. Strategies for Supervisees

Each lesson contains topics. the topics contain the information you will find helpful before and throughout the Supervised Practice period.

Work through the material at your own pace. You can always go back to topics you would like to review. By clicking on the ‘Mark Complete’ button at the end of each topic, it will be easy to find where you need to start at your next session.

  • The 3 buttons above are located at the end of every topic. Use them to navigate the course easily.
  • To keep track of your progress, click the ‘Mark Complete’ button when you are finished a topic.
  • When in a group of ‘toggles’ or ‘dropdown’ boxes, (such as this one) it is recommended that once you have read the material in the toggle and you are ready to move onto the next one, click anywhere inside the completed toggle to close it. This will keep the page from jumping to bottom of the next open toggle. This is most helpful when the toggle contain a larger amount of material.
  • If you want to print any content – you can either right click and print the page or select the text you need to copy, right click to choose ‘copy’, and then paste into a document.
