Supervisor Accountability
Supervisors support and assist the conditional registrant to become a successful and independent practitioner in Alberta.
Supervisors provide socialization into the professional culture of their profession.
- i.e., helping the conditional registrant (who may be new to the profession and/or new to Alberta) to acquire knowledge of the rules, roles, professional responsibilities, and expectations of their profession within the Alberta context.
Supervisors provide direct and indirect supervision to assess and ensure competency across various domains of professional practice.
-
- See supervision agreement below for recommended amounts and progression of direct and indirect supervision.
